The University of Run For Your Life is a place where runners of all
abilities can come and run in a group format. Whether you just want to come
for the social aspect (free) or receive coaching to help you achieve your
running goals, the University of Run For Your Life is the place for you.
Classes include 101 for beginners and 201 for those that can run
at least three miles.
What are the levels offered?

101
- A
class designed for those who have never run before or
those who are beginning to run again after a layoff.
This class will focus on building up to being able to
run continuously by using walking as a beginning point.
Participants will focus on combined run/walks and
gradually build their time spent running and reducing
their time walking. This class is not concerned with
time or speed, but more in tune to measuring effort and
achieving a goal based on completion of task, regardless
of the time it takes. Participants can expect to start
off by running/walking 2 miles and build up to 3 miles
by the end of the session. |

201
- This class is for participants that can run at least 5
minutes without stopping. Runners will fine tune their
efforts and begin to increase the distances of their run
and mix in different types of runs including some tempo
work. Runners who wish to improve their time in a 5K or
train for a 10K event are welcome to join this class.
Runners in this class can expect to run an average of 4
miles per class session.
