Pre Registered Participants
(Participants who have registered on/before WEDNESDAY, June 27):
If you register online, by mail or in person on/before Wednesday, June 27 you may pick up your race number and t-shirt one of two ways:
- At the Run For Your Life of your choice (Dilworth, Piper Glen, South Park or University) from Monday, July 2 – Tuesday, July 3*.
- On-site race day beginning at 6:30 am.
*NOTE: If you DO NOT mark your preferred Run For Your Life location to pick up your race number and t-shirt on the registration from, the default location is Run For Your Life- Dilworth. You have until Wednesday, June 27 to select your preferred store if you register online, by mail or in person. After Wednesday, June 27, you can ONLY pick up your race number and t-shirt at the Dilworth location if you register online or by mail. You are only allowed to pick up your packet at the Run For Your Life store of choice – NO EXCEPTIONS.

- Dilworth, Monday-Tuesday 10AM – 7 PM
- Piper Glen, Monday 10AM – 7PM; Tuesday until 1 PM
- South Park, Monday 10AM – 7PM; Tuesday until 1 PM
- University, Monday-Tuesday 10:30AM – 7:30PM;
- On-site Race Day beginning at 6:30 am

T-shirts are only guaranteed to runners that register before Wednesday, June 27. Anyone who registers after Wednesday, June 27 will receive a t-shirt only while supplies last.

Awards will be presented at awards ceremony and will not be mailed. Awards will be kept for 2 weeks at the Dilworth Run For Your Life location, no exceptions!

VIRTUAL RACE BAG
The July 4th Spectacular 4 Miler has partnered with Virtual Race Bags to produce a 'virtual goodie bag' in an effort to ‘go green’ and provide additional benefits to our participants. As a participant of this year's event you will receive an email invitation to the Virtual Race Bag prior to the event giving you access to the bag.
In the race bag you will find an array of valuable information including our official event guide, exclusive offers, coupons, giveaways, and messages from our sponsors.
But wait, there’s more! Immediately after the event, the race bag updates to include race results. Now participants will receive another email invitation to visit their ‘results bag’ and also have a final opportunity to take advantage of the offers and goodies before the bag closes.

BENEFICIARY
The mission of the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte is to provide the families of children being treated in area medical facilities with a safe, affordable and caring “home away from home.” They primarily serve families in the Southeast who travel a significant distance to receive specialized medical care at Levine Children’s Hospital and Hemby Children’s Hospital.
At their House, they embrace “family centered care” as the core concept of their services. Family centered care is based on the understanding that the family is the child’s primary source of strength and support, and that the family’s participation and inclusion are important in a child’s diagnosis, treatment and ongoing care. They make family centered care possible for many families who come to Charlotte for medical treatment by removing barriers to participation. Their House provides a free way for families to stay in the city, avoiding the high costs of nearby hotels. They provide a comfortable bed, so that the families are well rested and capable of long days in the hospital. They provide free, healthy foods for breakfast and lunches and a nightly hot meal so that families can nourish their bodies. Finally, they offer emotional support to the parents, through their caring staff and many volunteers, so that they can focus on the well-being of their child.
