Part Time Retail Sales Associate The ideal candidate will have at least one year retail and/or customer service experience with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Job responsibilities include working with customers to provide product solutions for runners and walkers, delivering exceptional customer service, and providing the customer with an unforgettable shopping experience while at Run For Your Life. Other tasks include operating a cash register, answering the telephone, stocking product, cleaning, and customer follow-up, staffing the Race Desk, and working with other employees to provide a positive and winning work environment. Pay is commensurate with experience and includes generous employee discount.
Full Time Retail Manager The ideal candidate will have 3 5 years experience in a retail environment with experience in ordering product, managing a staff of employees, an undying dedication to quality customer service, and an outgoing and positive attitude. The ideal candidate should also be an active runner or triathlete. Experience or educational background in exercise physiology is a plus. Job responsibilities will include working with customers to provide product solutions for runners and walkers while delivering exceptional customer service, and providing the customer with an unforgettable shopping experience while at Run For Your Life. Retail Manager is also responsible for ordering product, making outside sales calls, and overseeing and managing a staff and schedule, including performing annual staff reviews. Other tasks include operating a cash register, answering the telephone, stocking and putting away product, cleaning, following up with customers that have made purchases, working the Race Desk, and working with other employees to provide a positive and winning work environment. Event Day Contract Labor The ideal candidate will be an early-riser, willing to do whatever it takes to ensure event participants enjoy safe, fun, and well-organized running events. Candidates must be available to work Saturday mornings to help produce the Charlotte areas most professionally-managed, participant- and sponsor-friendly running events. Tasks include loading and unloading trucks, setting up event equipment including tables, tents, scaffolding, road cones, mile markers and clocks, assisting with timing and scoring duties, and ensuring all participants have a memorable experience at each and every event. Saturday hours are typically 5 a.m. 11 a.m. Some heavy lifting is required.
